About Me
Welcome to Shot at 35mm Photography, where the art of capturing nature's beauty meets the intimate portrayal of trees and once loved abandoned homes.
It’s here that you will find something a little different from me to what I usually produce with the transformation of the images into PhotoArt, where each image is taken through the process of transformation in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
In my portfolio, you'll discover a collection of breathtaking landscapes where I have taken a portion of the wider view to show a small portion of the landscape that can be lost in the bigger picture, whether it be the long forgotten and now abandoned homes & farms or my portraits of trees.
Portraits of Trees is a project I fell into as I’ve found I was photographing more trees than normal in my travels when photographing my Abandoned SA series.
Its here where each photograph tells the tale of forgotten stories and silent echoes.
Trees, with their silent wisdom, timeless presence and their resilience to what nature throws at them becomes the focal point of my lens.
Beyond the lens, my goal is to evoke emotions and foster a deep connection between the viewer and nature.
Through my work, I hope to inspire a renewed appreciation for the world around us, encouraging a sense of wonder and gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us daily.
In this project of Abandoned South Australia, I offer a unique perspective on the intersection of history, decay, and the enduring beauty found in abandonment.
I invite you to explore this evocative portfolio, where the forgotten past comes to life through the lens of my camera.
I look forward to the opportunity to capture the essence of nature and create timeless memories for you.
